Aberdyfi is a picturesque fishing village hanging on to the southern most part of Snowdonia National Park and part of the North Wales Kitesurfing scene. Located on the edge of one of the most beautiful estuaries in Wales. Even when there’s no wind to play with in Aberdovey there is still plenty to do in the surrounding mountains and villages of Tywyn and Machynlleth. A short drive to the north we have Fairbourne and Barmouth. To the south there’s Borth, Ynys Las and the university town of Aberystwyth.
Aberdovey is ideally located to the midlands and Manchester for kitesurfing and an easy drive for the North Wales Kitesurfing scene.
With lots on offer locally from Mountain Biking and hiking to kayaking and stand up paddleboarding. There’s also some excellent golf courses, an abundance of quality restaurants and some amazing Welsh history at Machynlleth, the medieval capital of Wales.
The bus and rail network to Aberdyfi is good, National rail have all the routes and info.
By Car: Meeting place is the first lay by on the right just after Aberdyfi, its then a 5 minute walk to the beach, you can use the map below for google directions.
