The Basic Kitesurf Instruction Courses Part 1,2 and 3
If you want kitesurfing lessons that gives you a taste of what it’s all about then the first part of kitesurf instruction is for you. This kitesurf lesson will give you your core safety knowledge as well as basic flying skills by flying a kitesurf trainer kite on land. Before heading to the water to try your first water re-launches, a self rescue and some basic body dragging (allowing the kite to pull you through the water, while laying on your chest) with a kitesurf kite.
Two sessions of kitesurf instruction will give you more practical work with the kites. Continuing from the first day of instruction you then spend most of the session in the water getting used to creating more power and control with the kite by practicing more essential advanced body dragging techniques (like board retrieval). More about tides and weather, safe beach launching and landing. Most student get to the point of putting a board on their feet and their first board starts.
With Board day kitesurf instruction you really start to get to grips with the board. Some of our students nail riding on the first few goes and then we spend the day working on position and techniques for turning and control while others need the day the master there basic kiteboarding. It is essential to have completed our day one and two course prior to this course.
Other Kitesurfing Lessons

VIP kitesurfing lessons are ideal for a fast track one day get a board on your feet kitesurf course. They are 1-2-1 and extremely tiring, we are also limited on the amount of days we can run it as the wind and tides need to be spot on to achieve the amount of flying time we need in the day to cover the course. This course is more suited to someone that can get to us fairly last minute or that is in the area on holiday and the wind forecast is looking great.
If on the other hand you want an adventure holiday in Portugal doing lots of different things that you wouldn’t normally try, then this is the one for you. Choose from luxury accommodation to traditional self catering right on the beach.
